FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Frequently asked questions
Where is Anaheim First Christian Church located?
What time is the church service?
Where do I go when I arrive?
Enter through the courtyard. You'll be greeted by friendly faces and offered tea, coffee, and baked goods. If you're attending English Growth Track, step into the chapel, adjacent to the courtyard. If you're attending Spanish Growth Track, continue through the lobby and into the Fireside Room. If you're only attending the church service, make your way into the sanctuary, just inside the lobby.
How should I dress?
Some people wear shorts and sandals. Some people wear suits. Just dress comfortably and be yourself.
What is the service like?
English-speaking and Spanish-speaking members of our church family gather in the sanctuary to engage in bilingual contemporary and traditional worship music. We partake in communion together. Then, those who prefer to hear the sermon in Spanish are invited into the chapel for a translated message. English-speakers and Spanish-speakers will hear a Bible-based sermon that is relevant and applicable to the life of a Christ-follower.
How long is the service?
On average, the service is approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes.
What about my children?
We offer fun, engaging childcare from birth to 6th grade in our KIDS Ministry. Parents and children remain together during the first part of the service (because we like when the little ones sing with us!), then the children are released to their teachers just before the sermon begins.
What is the check-in process for my children?
Our KIDS Ministry check-in station is located in the lobby, where one of our friendly volunteers will help register first-time guests and show you where the nursery and classrooms are located.
Who will be working with my children?
Our nursery and classrooms are operated by loving volunteers who have undergone a thorough vetting and screening process, including a background check, to ensure the safety of your children.
What about my teenager?
Students in 7th through 12th grade can join our teen Bible study called Youth Growth Track, which begins at 9:30am in the youth classroom, located just inside the lobby. Then, we encourage teenagers to attend the service in the sanctuary at 10:45am because we believe both young and old Christ-followers should occupy the same space — worship together, learn together, and be in community with one another.
Do you offer a midweek service?
Instead of a midweek service, we offer GROW — a church-wide event on Wednesdays (6:00pm to 8:30pm) that includes a potluck dinner, life groups for adults, Youth Ministry for teens, and KIDS Ministry for the little ones. GROW is an effective way we build community and learn more about what it means to follow Christ. More info.
